Week Wrap-Up (22-28 MAR 15)

My computer sucks. It can't log into AMC's website to watch 'Better Call Saul'. I've tried just about everything I can think of to no avail (on both Mac and Windows). If you have any pro-tips, leave a comment below.

The big news of the week is Blue Apron; I subscribed. Joe Rogan (JRE) and Stuff You Should Know (SYSK) both offer two free meals, but thanks to Dan (close friend and former co-worker) I got three (2-person meals) for free. My first delivery is scheduled for 02 APR 15. Navarian-Style Lamb Meatball Stew, Pan-seared Chicken Verjus, and Chile-Blackened Cod is on the menu this week. I'll post reactions and a review next week [if I feel like it].

I've decided my latest bio-hacking project is going to be increasing my grip strength. According to Pavel Tsatsouline, increasing grip strength [combined with mid-section strengthening and something else] can dramatically increase performance. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Highlights of the Day (HoTD) 3/28: Played circa 1992 Oregon Trail- max score was like 2200 or something with doctor, no loss of life. I stared a new book called 'The Art of Learning'. I drank like 5-7 beers then cooked some ground sausage. The sausage was sourced from my parents who got it from a neighbor who butchers pigs. The butcher was in the Vietnam War.

Pro-Tip of the Week: When cooking with stainless steel shit, pre-heat the pan first before adding oil, ingredients, etc. This will prevent stuff from sticking. When cleaning, if pan is hot use hot water, if cold use cold water.
